Totting up 12 Points
Where a person reaches 12 penalty points they will be eligible for disqualification from driving under the ‘totting’ provisions. This usually means that the driver will be banned from driving for a minimum period of 6 months. This is known as a ‘totting’ up driving disqualification.
If you find yourself in this position, #1 Motoring Solicitors can advise and represent you inrespect of an Exceptional Hardship Argument. If Exceptional Hardship is accepted by the court, it will ensure that the driver either:
- Avoids the mandatory 6 months disqualification from driving
- The 6 month disqualification period is reduced to a lesser period. #1 Motoring Solicitors have been successful in countless applications to the Court to find
Exceptional Hardship. This has resulted in our clients avoiding disqualification or alternatively being disqualified for a shorter period than the 6 month mandatory disqualification from driving.
Our Expert Motoring Lawyers at #1 Motoring Solicitors have years of experience in arguing Exceptional Hardship before the Magistrates Court and calling evidence to support Exceptional Hardship Argument.
